It’s hard to believe it’s already June. I hope you’ve been able to enjoy the warm weather.
We are here for you, providing support (see our #PCMANYstrong T-shirt initiative), education (see our upcoming June and July events), and community (see our bi-weekly social hour).
These last few weeks have raised awareness (again) of many systemic injustices in our country. It is a time to raise our voices and show solidarity for our black friends and colleagues. It is also a time for self-reflection and an examination of our own behaviors. How can we, as individuals, as an association, as an industry, become more welcoming, supportive, and anti-racist? We have shared some resources in this newsletter and through social media, and welcome your input. The work for a more equitable and just society never stops, and NYPCMA is committed to providing relevant education and an engaged community for you, your organization, and our industry.
