Dear Friends,

Here we are in August, a month for celebrating campfires and S’mores, friendships and romance, long hot days and lazy nights, and early sunrises followed by glorious sunsets. A toast to us all for making it this far! With fewer than five months to go until December, we are rolling out many more educational, informational, and social opportunities for you to engage in before the end of the year. As challenging as this year has been, it has highlighted the need for us all to stay connected, to reevaluate perceived norms, to find new ways of operating, to include voices that are often stifled, and to find time to celebrate those sparks of joy whenever possible. What have you discovered? How have your interests changed or priorities shifted? What is important to you? We are preparing for a newly-conceived Education Day and invite you to help us craft one that speaks to your interests. We also invite you to join us as a volunteer in whatever capacity works for you. 

You, our members, are what makes this chapter so vibrant, engaging, and an essential aspect of this industry. Help us make NYPCMA the chapter that you need it to be.
