Fall is here, with its bright blue autumn skies and outdoor markets overflowing with apples, pumpkins, and cider. Take a moment to recharge, reconnect with people and things that make you happy, and register for NYPCMA’s Education Day! Reach out to someone you haven’t seen in a while, spread a little joy, go for a long walk, try something new.
This year’s Education Day theme is reflection, resilience, and reinvention. Be prepared for two days of inspiration, information, connection, and entertainment. This will culminate in our celebrated ACE Awards where we recognize our wonderful volunteers, members, and sponsors. Nominate yourself or someone who has been amazing this year and celebrate the achievement, collaboration, and excellence that defines our membership. See the open categories and submit your nominations here, by Monday, October 19th.The whole event will be recorded, and registrants will have access to view the sessions at their leisure. Don’t miss out!
So many of our industry friends and colleagues have been financially affected by the Covid crisis. If you are in that situation, we have created a Hardship Rate registration category just for you. Whatever your situation, it is vital that you stay engaged and involved, and we are here for you. And for those who are able, we are accepting donations in any amount that will go directly into the hardship fund.
Join president-elect Jimmy Le who, with Donna Kelly, will host a joint NYPCMA-NYSAE discussion on the state of associations on October 30. And join me and other favorite NYPCMA friends for a hybrid social hour on October 14. For details and registration visit our events page.
I look forward to seeing you all very soon.
Stay safe, stay connected, and stay engaged!
