The All-Under-One Roof Convention Adventure Is Growing

In late 2019, 134,000 square feet of flexible meeting space will be added to the state-of-the-art convention space, which features hi-def projectors and monitors, advanced lighting and AV controls, upgraded 10-hour ergonomic chairs, and Internet bandwidth speeds with 1 GB capacity. The expansion brings the convention center to 234,000 square feet and meeting rooms to 39, and adds a 38,000-square-foot ballroom to join the 25,000-square-foot and 9,000-square-foot ones. Enormous prefunction spaces, enhanced load-in and load-out capabilities, and substantial registration and client office areas round out the incredible convention center expansion.
This development follows closely behind the recent spring 2017 expansion, which added 520 guest rooms, including two new styles — Three-Bedroom Pride Suites and Big Five Suites, and three new dining experiences. The expansion also added bigger and better attraction offerings and an additional Kalahari Fitness and Training Center.
