President’s Corner

Hi Friends,

Hope you are all doing well and continuing to stay safe and healthy. I recently noticed that little flower buds are starting to bloom on this tree in my backyard. And for the first time in weeks, I can see patches of grass again.  I don’t think I have ever cared about these little things in the past, but if there is one thing that this pandemic has taught me is that every little thing, and every little moment, are worth caring for.  I hope you will join me in applying this lesson because when we start caring about all the little things, then we can achieve big things.

NYPCMA knows how devastating an impact COVID-19 has had on our industry. We will continue to do whatever we can to support you, the members, and the community in general. In the month of March, NYPCMA will be sharing the love (#NYPCMASHARETHELOVE) by partnering with City Harvest on a #GiveHealthy food drive. We are continuing the NYPCMA 2021 Challenge with Charity Miles to raise money for St. Judes Children’s Research. And then there’s our Winter Program, scheduled on March 10th, which focuses on how to “Advance Your Professional Journey.” You can get more information about all of this simply by going to the NYPCMA website.

I think I will end this message here since I wrote a long one last time. Thank you for reading. Please continue to stay in touch by checking the website, reading the newsletter, and following us on social media. Also please don’t hesitate to email me at [email protected] if there is anything that you want to talk about.

Onward and upward,

Jimmy
