The Bowery Mission Block Party with Operation BBQ Relief – Volunteer Event

September 16, 2017 @ 11:00 am EDT

Join us for The Bowery Mission Block Party! NYPCMA and Operation BBQ Relief are coming together to support The Bowery Mission’s Block Party and the local community in September.

The Bowery Mission will be blocking off a city street in East Harlem on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 16th – there will be lots of barbecue and maybe even a few of NYC’s best barbecue chefs in attendance.

Since 1879, The Bowery Mission has served homeless, hungry and poor New Yorkers. Meals, shelter, and medical care lead to residential programs that offer men and women the opportunity to transform their lives. Children get a positive first chance through summer camp, mentoring and family support. A vital part of the Lower East Side, The Bowery Mission now offers new hope to neighborhoods like Harlem and the South Bronx.

Come build bonds with your fellow members while doing good!
